The Hephzibah Foundation, founded by Nelson Phiri, seeks to end street homelessness by equipping vulnerable children with practical skills and raising community awareness on child protection

Nelson phiri is the organizer of this fundraiser.
My name is Nelson Phiri, and I am the founder of the proposed Hephzibah Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to ending street homelessness and empowering vulnerable children.
My inspiration came from my time as a volunteer with Shine Zambia, an organization that provides free education to vulnerable and orphaned children. While working there, I saw firsthand the challenges children face—abuse, neglect, loss of parents, and lack of opportunities. I witnessed how education and care could transform their lives, but I also realized that many children still end up on the streets without the skills or support they need to survive.
This experience planted the vision for the Hephzibah Foundation: to go beyond education by equipping vulnerable children with practical skills and vocational training while raising community awareness about child protection.
I am fundraising to launch the foundation’s programs. The funds will be used to:
Purchase essential equipment and training materials so children can learn trades such as vehicle repair, carpentry, and tailoring.
Cover running costs such as staff facilitation, utilities, transport, and community outreach activities.
Your support will help children move from the streets into safe, nurturing environments where they can develop skills, gain independence, and build a brighter future.
Slogan: “A future where no one is forced to live on the streets.”
